Hey guys. I took some Dynacin (Minocycline) and my eyes have been

pink sense I took it. My complexion looks like hell too. Do you

guys think this is an alergic reaction or something else. If I have

rosacia I haven't had it for long, but I'm pretty suspective of it.

Should I call a doctor, or wait for it to go away?

Cute guy, I don't know that anyone can give you a virtual diagnosis.

What you're describing doesn't sound like typical rosacea, and

Minocycline typically makes ocular rosacea better, not worse. Has

your dermatologist done a scraping to rule out a fungal infection?

Has your physician performed a work-up for connective tissue and

immune-mediated disorders?

Minocycline is not providing a life-saving function for you, whereas

an allergic reaction can be life-threatening. If you have reason to

suspect an allergic reaction stop the medication immediately and

contact your physician in the morning; visit the ER if the reaction

is very uncomfortable; call an ambulance immediately at the first

indication of breathing difficulties or throat swelling, and make

certain you aren't physically alone before they arrive.

Good luck, and let us know what happens.
