Guest guest
Pam & Waverley, Rob has been taking ProVigil for over a year and we have had no problems getting insurance to pay for it, or part of it, which is what our contract allows. Rob has Medicare, which of course doesn't pay for any medications, and a Blue Cross supplement. All insurance companies have an appeal process, and that is what I would use to contest this. If the doctor thinks it is necessary and it helps, they should pay for it. ProVigil is expensive, which is why they don't want to cover it. Guest guest
Hello I am Sam's caretaker. Sam takes provigil in the a.m. and at noon. It has helped him a great deal to stay awake. His private neurologist prescribed it, and I sent it to the neurologist at the VA who has it filled for us there. I do not know whether the pharmacy plan from his former employer (he has been retired 18 years) would fill it for us. They have usually been cooperative, but some medications are really costly and all the " plans " are trying to cut down. I hope you can get the drug, if that is what you need. t 06:08 PM 11/1/2002 -0400, you wrote: >Can anyone help Waverley with this question? >Thanks, >Pam > >----- Original Message ----- > >To: " Pam Bower " >Sent: Friday, November 02, 2001 3:53 AM > > > > Hi Pam, > > > > Maybe u can help me.
