Guest guest
Check this out: http://www.denveraugmentation.com/denver_chin_surgery.htm The " before " picture is pretty much where I started too, now I'm halfway to the " after " picture. I am definitely going to look into a consultation with Dr. O'Donnell in Denver, CO. I've been so disappointed in my original jaw advance/genioplasty results in regards to my chin and side profile. Now with a failed implant that will be removed this week, I'm back to the " drawing board " so to speak and will try to obtain two or more different opinions regarding either a second try at an implant, a secondary genioplasty, or a combination of both genio and implant. Needless to say, it's been very discouraging, but then I ran across Dr. O'Donnell's website and saw a picture in his chin section that gives me great hope that there are at least some doctors out there who will do " what it takes " to deliver actual perfection or something very close to it rather than some watered down improvement that gets called " wonderful " . That's what my original OS office thinks of my results from my 1995 surgery with a chin hanging over a centimeter short of where it should be. " Improved " but certainly not " wonderful " I want straight objective talk, not buttered up words as if I was developmentally disabled or something. By the way, for anyone who doesn't think looks matter, I would venture to say that the results obtained for that girl on Dr. O'Donnell's site changed her entire future. Her social life, her marriage, her career, her whole existence had to have been transformed by the incredible change in appearance that her surgery gave her. Without the surgery, she would have been working a minimum wage job most of her life, married to a slob, probably wind up dying at a premature age, etc. etc. That might sound far fetched, but it really isn't. Obviously, I'm experienced enought to realize that results vary from person to person, but at least they must know what an ideal aesthetic result should look like and hopefully could help me and maybe anyone else reading this too.
