Guest guest
I am really getting sick of not being able to workout effectively. But I do get in my push ups, sit ups and pull ups, though not for more than 20 minutes at a time. I find that the combination of a serious surgery and current diet, or lack there of, is making me fatigue quickly. It sucks, so I haven't even tried to make it to the gym or the field yet. The expander is getting to be more comfortable but is still in the way when I talk and eat. I can eat rice and soft meats now, but usually vigorous chewing, even if on soft foods, results in minor swelling and aching. I get my braces wed, the day after tomorrow which will help close this gap between my front two teeth, currently at 6.25 mm. We are over correcting by 4-5 mm! (10mm total expansion) in order to account for the relapse that will occur after the appliance comes out. As far as post surgery feelings... not too great. I slept for 3 hours after the surgery and was really sleepy trying to get out of the hospital. I was able to dress my self and get moving, but it took some doing. Its tough when your all drugged up and your mouth is so effected. I guess everyone will take it differently so my best advice would be to expect the worst, so that you can have the mindset and mental prep to deal with anything. it'll give you the strength to get up and start healing, because after all it does have a lot to do with perceive the situation. Remember its for the best. Cranking the appliance is getting tougher. today I bent my key trying to get my morning turn in. It seems the wider I get the more resistance there is. My crossbite is completely cured, and its awesome. I have lost 12 pounds, and am thinner than I have been for 6 years, which for a guy with my build is not a good thing. I look forward to rebounding my weight, strength and stamina when I can again put some strain on my body. I was ready for work after a week off, and could have been in sooner if I wasn't in sales. Pictures of my progression will be ready tomorrow and I'll put em up. Laterz, Arde > > Arde, thanks for the report > > > I am not sure what you mean by training... > > Sorry, I meant exercising.
