Hi all...I am 3 weeks post op lower jaw surgery today. I have been

allowed to take my bands off 3 x a day for 45 mins each time, however

my OS warned me not to chew any food, or we'll have to start over.

Is he serious? How long will it be until I can actually EAT

something? I am heading to Las Vegas for a week of fun on January

2nd, and I want to know if I will be able to enjoy the food! I am

very frustrated and it hasnt been that long. I have had my braces

since March, though, and I was told that I probably will not get them

off now until June, which sux. I was hoping that my teeth would be

ready sooner after surgery, but it looks as though my two front teeth

have already shifted a bit post-op. Thanks for the support!
