Guest guest
Hey ... sorry been out of the loop. This has been a rollercoaster week for me. My grandmother passed away on Monday and the funeral was yesterday. I've been in a fog pretty much all week. I am also coming off of four different meds before the surgery ... mainly for TMJ and generalized anxiety disorder. So to say the least it has been a pretty hard combination. I got my surgical posts put on Wednesday AM and am so glad that they are not bothering me. My brother did make the comment though that I remind him of the guy Jaws off of Bonds Moonraker. He quieted down when I threatened to take my shoe off and throw it at him. And this is my big brother ... he is 38 lol. The enormity of this all is really starting to hit home. I told my husband today to just knock me a good one and wake me up Tuesday morning. My stomach is all nervous and the pretty common thought is what the heck was I thinking. It helps so much knowing that someone else is waiting right along with me. I wish your bonegraft for your tooth already had a more definite out come ... I will be keeping you in my prayers that your tooth decides to stick around. Hope all is well and will keep in touch as the day gets closer. I already have informed my hubby we are going out for Thai food for my " last supper " lol. Take Care,

Guest guest
, I am really sorry about your grandmother, my prayers are with you. I also feel for you having to come off your meds. I have been on effexor before and remember what a roller coaster ride that was coming off that drug. I am a go for surgery, got my blood work back today and my potassium is good. I also got the call from the nurse at the hospital. She asked me all kinds of questions about my meds and I told her about my mitral valve prolapse. This weekend I am going out to get all my post op stuff. I hope I dont forget anything. I heard to get breathe rite strips that they help a lot with breathing. Well good luck and I will talk to you again before the big day. In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " luckystar78248 " <luckystar78248@y...> wrote: > > Hey ... sorry been out of the loop.
