Guest guest
Hi wls, I just had my panni removed on Jan 22 /03 , 5 weeks ago today and they removed 25 lbs ( for I ... you guessed the correct amount of my panni in one of your letters some time ago to the group<LOL>) also they repaired 4 hernias at the same time. I started out at 270 and did not see much loss until today when I weighed in at 250 lbs. I still have tons of swelling, but the pain wasn't bad at all really. the only complication I had was I needed some blood 3 days after surgery and once I got the blood I felt fantastic. I wouldn't really consider getting blood a complication to be honest although some folks do. My surgeon says that I will see the total loss slowly as the swelling goes down over the next few months. Ohh yes I did have a leak for a few hours because I accidentally pulled out a drain and the pressure of the fluid inside forced it's way out one evening but I had a drain reinserted but didn't feel it at all and at 5 weeks I still have one drain in as it is draining well and is really helping the swelling go down faster. huggs Bev
