having a hard time eatting. I am 7 weeks post opp. Ithrow up > alot. And it

hurts sometimes too. I mean when the food goes down. >>> Hey Nora,I had these

same symptoms the first weeks post-op. If you can, drinkthe protein drinks

and/or soups. Try cottage cheese and/or low fatcheese and whole grain crackers

(Whole Wheat Ritz are yummy). If youstill have pain and throwing up call your

doctor. The stoma (thehole made to join your new stomach and the intestine) may

be closingup and may require dilation. I had this procedure done three

timesbefore it stayed open on its own. It is a non-surgical andnon-painful

procedure. I was terribly depressed and discourageduntil I found out why I was

unable to eat despite my hunger. Youdon't have to feel this way too. Call your

surgeon. He can help. Good luck, Jony
