Guest guest
Hi Toi! Thank you for your reply also! You ladies truly are wonderful! Tylenol is definitely better than nothing and I will certainly give it a try! I usually try to tough out pain, but somehow I'm turning into a big baby about it (or so it seems!). I think maybe it's that " ready to take on the world " thing you mentioned...I know I've overdone it a few times since surgery. I got back in town after surgery and was like " oh no, must shop! Must do laps around the new Wal-mart that just opened! " Silly me. The Dr. says to walk but take it easy so what do I do but go so far back in the store I should have dropped bread crumbs to find my way out again. Well, at least next time I'll know I can cruise by the Tylenol aisle while I'm outracing toddlers past the toy section! Your observation about too few calories causing wt loss to stall really hit me this morning when I read your post. I had moderately increased my protein & calories intake the past day or two and boom...the scale moved again! Weird how more intake could equal more loss, but it sure seemed to because I've done nothing different. Your early post op IS so much like how mine's going it's amazing. There is comfort, at least to me there is, that there are so many similarities. It reminds me that we're all basically on the same path, and even though it's very unknown to me, there are others who've been down the path very successfully...and it takes away that feeling of flying blind. And you have such great pictures...you look so healthy and happy and...glowing! I just love seeing where everyone has been and where they've journied to! After years of unsuccessful dieting (26 out of my 33) it brings tears to my eyes to see so many people doing well and getting healthy. You're truly an inspiration! Ok, before I start sounding like an infomercial and getting even more sappy...I'll go for now but thanks again for the info/advice, and support!
