Guest guest
Yeah last nt I got the ok, bec he agreed that I pinched something in my neck to go back to my bed......yahoooooooooooooooo! Still propped up, ut who cares! my feet and head were on teh same surface and nothing hung off! My fiance was still like maybe, he's super cautious. But looked much better when he got up today too. as to the hosp...first night mom stayed. he went home, but it was SO late when he did...we have a cat and dog with special needs so he had double duty! the next nt, he came in for the dr apt...and was going to go home, take care of the pets and come bk late...so as he's asking about which door to use the RN is like, no one is supposed to stay over. Mind you I was in ICU, but the idea that I was swollen like a puffer fish and when I hit the button to pee post-cathider, it took nearly an hour once I was like NO WAY AM I STAYING ALONE then release me now. My OS was not happy with that or them and is on the board at the hosp...so he popped into the head nurse and came in and said you can stay, just keep it low key and try to stay IN here all nt. He's a great OS and a great person. I almost forgot, my dear dog was going thru things of his own....we were having him tested for cancer -in his brain...he was actually at teh doggie hosp that night too, so the cat was FREAKING out when I got home...wasn't sure I was real, thoguth everyone left him-he's quite the emotional kitty On the day to leave, Mom picked me up and my fiance picked my dog up. Tests were fine...NO C!!! thank god. I was more worried going into my surg for him than me. We cried all weekend and tried to be strong mon morning when I said bye for now and went on my way. I love them very much-we b oth do, to us, they are our family, children--we have a blind dog and a diabetic cat...both became that way about 6-7 yrs old, so while they just used to be active and " a hand full " sometimes, they became a serious Non-vacationing responsibility. Wouldn't change a thing. They were a great help to my recovery...esp kitty-helped me chill out. going to go stretch!
