Dear All: a dear person just wrote to me and thought this had a harsh tone to

it. I just want to say that I MEANT it as a humorous comment---- you know

like Goldie Hawn style. I do not know how to put her tone of voice on the

page. I regret if it offended anyone. Please read it in a comedic voice,

that's how I meant it.

love,

Goldie ceep, or ceepie hawn.

interviewing a new doc as yours died, moved away, etc. You go, you pay the

fee, you see if it is a good match. Cheap at twice the price. CHEAP. IT IS

YOUR LIFE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, not your hangnail. Why is it women will go to

ten stores for the panyhose that fit best and yet take the first bozo

whomever they are given

Thanks for this clarification, Ceep! Thank you, thank you...I DID

feel a bit as if I was being told I was an idiot, so it was a relief

to see this explanation.

Yes, these things are important and we should take them seriously.

Duh. *sigh* But knowing that and figuring out the best way to go

about handling a particular situation are sometimes very different

things.

For the record, I'm not completely convinced it's time to dump my PCP

for someone else...certainly not over the lab reports, since I have

not actually tried all that hard to get them yet. I have some

decisions to make and some steps to take, but interviewing new

doctors would be a last resort, imo, and it's not a step I feel the

need to take just yet. In the meantime, the comments I made here were

meant as venting, as a way of blowing off some frustration while I

work out the best way (for me) of handling certain things.
