Right on, Steve ... I know your note will be appreciated!

My 51 year-old-brother, a BlackHawk " driver, " recently re-activated himself,

purely voluntarily. He is on his way. He survived Vietnam as a Loch pilot

and Huey medivac and CH47 pilot. I could not be more proud that his

" family-duty-honor-country as a ranger pilot is not only his moto, but that

of our family. His is my hero and just one of the many Vietnam era pilots

to reactivate from retirement. Not only do I believe that the hands of God,

which wrap themselves around our List members as a blanket in times of fear,

shield our soldiers with comfort and safety, but my faith holds true that

those same hands will also hold my brother safely in the sky and give him

wings for his safe return.

God bless America!

Right after 9/11, I called the National Guard to enlist. It turns out I was

too old, and they would not take new recruits over the age of 37 (I was 40).

But they were very anxious to hear from former service members who they would

reactivate in a heart beat. I think it is terrific that your brother signed

back up, Bobbie - tell him total strangers are cheering him on!!
