Guest guest
Hi Tricia.... Nice to read your post tonight. You asked about a long waiting list for this type of surgery. In the area I'm from, it seems to depend on the surgeon. Mine is Dr. Juarez and he is booked about 5 or 6 months ahead it seems. I got a surgery date in Sept and am having surgery on the 19th of Feb, so about 5 months. I first began looking into this whole process in January 2003, so the wait time from beginning to end will have been about 13 monhts. That included a denial from the insurance, and an appeal process. Good luck to you.....keep us posted!
