Guest guest
Hi Everyone and happy new years to all.... Just an update on how i am doing. I have returned to work this week. Was VERY tough I had a 24hr shift and by the 12th was exhausted. I slept during most free time in house. My officer was good about me eatting soups right now. I am still required tho to do my share of the cooking for the house each week wheather i eat it or not. I have still had some pain along the incission but its getting better As to eatting... I dont know.... I have been moved back to liquids 3x since my surgery. Everytime i try meats (chicken, burger, ham, turkey) it doesnt matter i get sick.... Spicy foods forget, Milk has become a MAJOR problem..... In the hospital i drank all types No trouble or dumping... Now Soon as i swallow I get sudden chest pain and the runs..... I tried lactose free milk.. No better... Yet I can eat pudding with no problem and add a little to cream of wheat with no problem... ANY SUGGESTIONS?????? Pasta is another downfall... I know some will say not suppose to be eatting that but others on the group who know with my job I kinda have to break the pouch rules a bit when i am working. I guess will just take alot longer for me to get meats down... Right now I am happy with soups and the other liquids.... But will hopefully eventually be eatting meats for more protien so i can stop these god awlful protien drinks......
