Guest guest
Hi Irish, Fiddlesticks, & Cammie & anyone else I already know. Just wanted to give an update to say that the swelling has gone down immensely since last night. Still have a lot but it gives me hope that it won't hang around as long as last time. My two surgeries are so different. But I guess that's the difference in breaking bones & not. Last time I had upper & lower broke & this time nothing at all. I guess that would explain why folks who have upper & lower usually recover slower than those who only have one jaw broken. (Duh!) I was lucky last time that things went so well (except for the swelling, vomiting & sleep deprivation- heh, heh). I shouldn't even complain about the swelling I'm having. All of us would of been so happy to only of had that to complain about. Guess there's something about not knowing how you will look & not recognizing yourself in a mirror that just gets to us. Can't wait to see how this turns out. Everyone cross your fingers for me that I don't end up looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger when the swelling goes down!
