Guest guest
My derm recently prescribed Daktakort and aqueous cream with 1% sulphur. I'm not sure why considering I have the rosacea diagnosis but presume she was thinking that I have seb derm. Anyhow having read the packert of the Daktakort (an antifungal cream) it seems that the cream also contains steroid. At the time she didn't mention the steroid and had I have realised at the time I would have protested. Anyhow my skin has been so bad I used a tiny tiny tiny amount on one side of my face and you know what? the flakes, burning, scale dissappeared. Ofcourse I don't know it that was mainly due to the effect of the steroid. I have used a tiny bit of the sulphur cream in the other side of my face and so far it hasn't done much. Another thing I would add is that driving in my car I notice that the right side of my face (we drive on the left!) burns and is covered in flakes by the time I get home. I think it must be the heat of the UV rays through the window because when i go on holiday (more sun exposure)I generally find the flakes clear up. --------------------------------- Relive the FIFA World Cup goals with exclusive video highlights! http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/fc/en

Guest guest
Driving can make a difference because my dermatologist said that a lot of people get skin cancer and other problems more on their left side (U.S. here). I have tinted glass in my car which helps a bit. ........
