Guest guest
I just had a visit with OD today and i went from wearing 9 bands in an odd and difficult to get on configuration, so only 5 and much easier to get on. since i have been having fairly significant symmetry issues, my OD and i made a new plan today. I am getting my metal bands off the last three teeth both upper and lower on left side only of my mouth. He will then slide a tool he uses between all those teeth to polish or abrase them and make ever so small spaces between teeth. He will then chain my teeth in the ever so pleasant rubber chains to start pulling my whole set of teeth to the left. when i smile now, the middle of my upper lip is over my left front tooth. he will shift all teeth so that they look more centered. This will mean that i will be in braces almost a year longer, but at this point, with all i have been through (third time in braces in my life, upper/lower/genio) i could care less about the time, i just want it to look right. i have been pretty excited about getting them off, but find myself pretty excited about this new plan. I think it will make my smile look better. has anyone had this done?
