Hello Tammy,

Everyone loses weight at a different rate, each of our bodies is

unique. The other thing to remember is that it is normal to hit

plateaus. You have lost an average of ten pounds per month. It

sounds like you're getting plenty of exercice (definately more than

me:) and you say you eat the right food but I wonder how many

calories are you taking in a day? Have you had a followup recently

with your dr or nutrionist? I'm wondering what they have said about

your weightloss. One thing my nutrionist has told me is to add more

protein when I'm in a slump. Hang in there and I'm sure you'll get

lots of good responses from others on this board.

welcome tammy. the pattern seems to be, that the lower the BMI, the

more gradual the w l. 40 lbs is excellent, though. keep up the

diligent work.
