Guest guest
Hi, I took Sinamet for about 6 weeks and I couldn't tell any improvement. I then started taking Requip around April. It took maybe 10 to 12 weeks to get up to my current dose of 2.5 mg tid. It really helps with my slow walking and funny gait. However the autonomic side of the house has flared up rarely severely the last 2 months. The Parkinson doc is thinking that we should stop the Requip and try Sinamet again because it is her feeling the Sinamet has less of an impact on my low blood pressure. So at this very moment I am not sure what will work the best. We may end up trying a combo of both. Mike Plunkett Re: Requip vs Sinamet Sam took both requip and sinemet at the same time, and then the requip was stopped. I didn't notice any difference at all. He continues with sinemet--cr50 but only 1/2 tablet three times a day. I honestly don't know if he is the same on it as he would be without it--maybe the disease would have progressed faster than it has, but who knows. I do know that when I occasionally forget noon or evening medicines I don't notice any difference. Perhaps one missed dose doesn't make any difference. There may be some residual effect of the drugs. I guess .I am not very helpful. I think we all do the best we can. Best wishes Lou Reynolds01:38 AM 10/31/2002 +0000, you wrote: >Has anyone had experience with both of these?.
