Guest guest
How are you feeling today? Since it's Friday, this is the peak swelling day (T+3). From what I read it just gets easier and easier. I can't wait for that to happen. As far as I can tell, I don't see any less swelling, but my mom said she can see less swelling. My OS said that I have really dense bone, and when he went to make his cut for the BSSO (my lower midline was off 6mm) it didn't break correctly -- so he had to do extra work on it, hence more there's more swelling on that side. I'm taking arnica 3x daily, and hydocodone every 4 hours. When should we start trying to eat? I have to drink water, or apple juice with 1/2 water in it, ortherwise is bubbles in my throat, and I can't swallow it down. I don't know how I'm going to ever be able to actually drink anything more solid. I'm seeing my doctor on Tuesday -- I don't know what he's going to do then. How does anyone brush by the way? I can't open my teeth wide enough to get my toothbrush in there, but they say you should brush! Anyway, I just wanted to check in -- still miserable. Oh, and as far as numbness goes -- I can't feel my cheeks, or chin. Is that normal?
