Splint-but not in surg...more like a permanent retainer???

Anyone have one or know anything?

Looking into it Monday, but the idea is the lower front teeth are

sorta weak in the roots...done better than we hoped actually-since we

had considered implants...but so far so good. Braces are coming off

soon and the OR thinks I should explore this. The idea is to spread

out the pressure/movement for additional support. Think of a

retainer, but this will only go from eye tooth to opposite eye tooth

on the inside bottom and be permanent.

I don't know the costs...consult it about $150. so I can only

imagine...and let's face it, this hasn't been cheap, but I want to do

the right thing and preferably ONCE.

I may still loose these YEARS from now, but work with what is yours

as long as you can they all say and I'm down with that.

Also, any one know about Laminates or options for teeth that are not

so white to begin with and have had braces for 13yrs then another

2...I really have to do something -no question and white strips is

not my answer-too severe. (I also had to take meds when I was young

and my teeth were forming which robbed them of their super white-

ness.) So what are the options and prices....anybody?
