Guest guest
Hi all, G'day and thank you everyone for sharing your individual experiences. It is great to have found the support group with my surgery date drawing nearer. I am shedule to have both jaw sugery and septoplasty done on 24 Nov 2004. Am starting to be nervous now. Been on braces since Jul 03, been very thankful to be in good hands of DRs and dental hygienists. After reading through some of the threads here, I have some question of my own about Post-Ops 1) Can anyone advice, how do you breath after your surgery. Do you use your mouth or nose more? 2) Do you feel pain when you sneeze, yawn or swallow? 3) When can you shower or have a hair wash? 4) How long do we have to use the syringe? 5) Should I wax my braces before the surgery to avoid the braces cut inside my mouth? The nerves around my upper right teeths/gum is getting very sensitive to hot and cold drink. I tried using Sensodyne but doesn't seem to help. Anyone has any good advice on product? Thanks and appreciate everyone feedback. Cheers, WK
