Guest guest
Mine is also like this, I'll even moisturize then immediately apply foundation and the flakes suddenly appear mine are only on my cheeks under my eyes, but it's horribly noticable. Mine is definitely just rosacea, my derm has not found any seb derm. Please if anyone out there knows any remedies, advise us! Thank you in advance! Guest guest
I have the same problem. Everytime I put on zinco or sunblock you can really see the flakiness. I used to think it was seb derm, but now I believe it is just dry skin. If I use tolerin moisturizer, it holds them off pretty well. However, I would prefer to put nothing at all on my face to eliminate all possible problems. Exfoliating with a wet cotton cloth works well for getting the flakes off, but leaves the face very irritated. I try to balance moisturizer with exfoliation, but once again it is just treating the symptom, not the root. I wish I knew the answer, if anyone has luck we would all love to know. What about taking primrose oil or other oils ? I dont know the what the true problem and nor how to fully treat it. I'm pretty sure that religiously taking flax and primrose oils has been instrumental in eliminating my dry flaky skin.
