We are getting him out of Michigan where he has no support out to Orange County, California so he can be near his children. My step-mother has been his only caretaker up until now and I know she desparately needs a break. I am trying to accomplish two things: 1. Does anyone know a physician in the Orange County area who is familiar with this disease? 2. Does anyone know of any low cost or free in-home assistance that we can utilize? I want to keep my father at home as long as possible but he cannot be left alone. Any information that anyone can forward would be greatly appreciated.
