Guest guest
Amen!! I'm sorry, but I don't see that Dr. Nase " owes " us much of anything. He reseached and wrote a book about rosacea. He was kind enough to answer some of our questions on this board and be as helpful as he could. Now some seem to feel we own him. They resent that, at a time in his life when he is probably way overburdened by his own serious problems, he isn't here helping us with our rosacea. Sorry, I just don't see it. Guest guest
You know I don't see it either, I think it's way over the line and we've been given more than enough reasons as to why we haven't heard from him.

Guest guest
I have to agree. I know that when I ruptured a disk in my back and had to have surgery all I cared about was pain relief and making it through another day. I went without makeup and couldn't comb my hair. I understand that Dr Nase's injuries are considerable more serious than my back was and I can't imagine him able to focus on anything other than himself and taking one day at a time (and sometime an hour at a time). Guest guest
I agree too--I never said he " owes " us anything. I was merely empathasizing with the individual considering ETS based on Dr. Nase's experience. I never heard of ETS until I read his book. I got the sense that this person was considering ETS because Dr. Nase had the procedure--and was awaiting a reply. Since Dr. Nase's book is organized such that you can read how he PERSONALLY responded to various treatments, (in my opinion) I didn't think it was out of line to question how is his rosacea. I now realize that Dr. Nase may be facing much more important health issues than " R " . I totally understand! And, again I apologize for not being sensitive to this. Certainly I wish him a full recovery. After reading the book, I feel like I know him to be a very sweet and sensitive guy. I absolutely wish him to be well again. Marjorie's words of wisdom keep coming back to me. I now wonder how many went thru photoderm treatments based on the pictures in the back of the book and what others posted? The recent postings of poor results from photoderm treatments are upsetting (to me). What if years later, photoderm causes more harm than good? As Dr. Marjorie reminded us, we shouldn't base our clinical care on another's individual experience ... From photoderm to gold bond, Dr. Marjorie's words seem to be ringing true...... Wish we had more answers. Take care everyone, Michele --- woody1046@... wrote: > Amen!! > > > > I'm sorry, but I don't see that Dr. Nase " owes " us > much of anything. > > > > -- > Please read the list highlights before posting to > the whole group (http://rosacea.ii.net/toc.html). > Your post will be delayed if you don't give a > meaningful subject or trim your reply text.
