As I have posted previously, I am one of those people who has

experienced nothing but positive results from the photoderm

treatments I had two years ago.

And as another poster has pointed out, a lot of us who have had good

results from photoderm don't post on the board as much as people who

DON'T have good results, or who are undergoing the typical rosacea

trauma (the redness, swelling, bumps, stinging...whatever. Jeez, I've

had it all!). I read this board almost daily, but don't feel

compelled to post if my skin is doing OK, or if I feel I don't have

anything to contribute. After reading the posts regarding wasted

money and time spent on photoderm, I feel horrible for my fellow

rosaceans who have undergone this procedure only to find that not

only have their symptoms not abated, but sometimes have gotten worse.

I will (hopefully) begin " Fotofacial " treatments next month in Cary,

North Carolina. The photoderm treatments I had two years ago greatly

reduced my flushing/swelling/bumpiness/telangelesia; however, due to

the progressive nature of this disease, I'm due for a " tune up " . I

will keep you guys posted.

BTW, I'm experiencing a pretty bad flush right now, along with a side

order of assorted pustules, garnished with a sprig of facial edema.

This lovely turn of events is probably due to the fact that in a few

hours I will be skydiving for the first time, and I'm terrified of

heights (just looking at that Geico commercial where the briefcase

clutching insurance dudes parachute out of the plane makes my palms

sweaty.) I wonder if my rosacea has migrated to my brain, causing me

to shell out my hard earned cash to JUMP OUT OF A PLANE. I'm pretty

much scared sh#@less as I write this.

Goodbye, cruel world. And the best of luck to all of you.
