Guest guest
the swelling in my lips has gone down a tiny bit and I was able to pull my lower lip back to try to look at my mouth. I couldn't see much because I'm tightly banded shut with a splint...but the insides of my cheeks and lower lip are disgusting...I mean they are really torn up. I can't keep my lips from cracking no matter how much moisterizer I put on them either. Oh...and did anyone have one of those adhesive compression bandages on their chin after surgery. Well my OS said that I should try to keep it on until tomorrow...but he said if it came off on Sunday or Monday...no big deal. Well i was comin off anyways...so I pulled it off yesterday and now I have this nasty adhesive stuff stuck to my face that won't come off!!! My face is too swollen to try to scrub it and I've tried the last 2 days to get it off with no sucess...any ideas? Thanks! Tom

Guest guest
Try using isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball. I used it to get the adhesive off of my arm where the IV was. Guest guest
Tom-- I've had great luck with Nutrogena Overnight Lip Balm. It's in a round container, similar to Carmex. At Target, it's near all the other Nutrogena products. > the swelling in my lips has gone down a tiny bit and I was able to > pull my lower lip back to try to look at my mouth. Guest guest
The best thing for lips, and most pot-oppers will agree I think is Aquaphor, I learned about it here and it is awesome, A & D ointment was pretty good too. As for the adhesive anthing petroleum based will get that off, vaseline, aquaphor, A & D or anything greasy like that. Put a little on and rub it off with a kleenex.
