Had upper jaw surgery on dec. 9th and its not to bad

Hello.

I had upper jaw surgery on dec. 9 th to move it about half an inch

forward. Right out of the surgery I had a splint, but no bands!!

The doctor said he would wait one week to put the bands on. One week

later they are on and I get the splint off on wed. the 22nd as well

as my bands. I have had around 25 surgeries due to my cleft lip and

palate so having this surgery compared with others is not to bad. If

you have lower jaw surgery I think it is a whole different type of

pain but if you are having just upper, don't fret to much. peace
