/s Visit with surgeon today

Hi

I saw the local bariatric surgeon today for a follow up of the labs and

tests that I have been going through the past couple weeks. Most of my labs

and tests have been inconclusive.. The only major thing that has show up is a

5 mm non obstructing stone in the right upper pole of the right kidney, and

a 2.5 cm left renal mass.

My liver enzymes are still elevating and my bilirubin is elevating as well.

The doctor said I had him in a quandry today and he wants me seen by a more

experienced surgeon.. one who has done thousands of gastric bypass surgeries

rather than just him, who has a few hundred gastric bypass surgeries under

his belt at this point.

He is planning on sending me to see Dr Titus Duncan in Atlanta as soon as

he can get me an appt .. He is hoping that they together can decide what is

going on to cause the pain that I am experiencing and the elevated liver and

bilirubin levels.. I will have to keep you guys posted.

He did fill out the fmla papers for me.. so I have been covered for the

time I have missed from work. He also said in the papers that I would need

time off for appt and treatment, but I could go back to work tomorrow. I have

decided that retail is much too difficult for me at this point and am going

to resign my position , at least until my health is more stable . I can

always find another job doing something at that time.
