Guest guest
I neither binge nor fast....doing the protein drinks is NOT fasting. It has everything you need nutritionally in it with the inclusion of all our vitamins. I have protein days every now and then, when I see my weight take an upward turn. My health is just fine. In fact, I basically LOST all my weight by doing primarily protein shakes. Food is secondary to me, since I don't have a duodenum, and have a big bypass, I'm not getting much from it anyway. At least the protein shakes have all the aminos that you need. I don't think this group is setting themselves up for binges...if they are loaded with nutrition, their bodies will not crave anything, let alone carbs, which is what they want to cut back on. Three days is certainly not an issue here. JMVHO. > Regards~ > Jacque > Distal RNY, 5/30/00 > Drs. Fox and Oh > 310~126 > Beginning BMI 50.0 > Current BMI 20.3 > This week it's a two day fast. Wait... No I don't... I like food, it's enjoyable to me. I enjoy eating. I also enjoy many other things, but I do like food.
