Has anybody undergone Jaw surgery (upper/lower/both) and lost

sensation in his/her cheek(s)/tongue/lips permanenetly ?

This is the only thing holding me back from my surgery. I know that

numbness is a common occurrence but Ive heard that in some cases the

sensation NEVER COMES BACK! Has anyone experienced this ?

(BTW Ive benefited immensely from the info you guys have been

throwing back and forth.)
