I had a septoplasty, rhinoplasty and a few other things done almost

exactly 3 weeks ago and couldn't sleep at all. My surgeon

anticipated this ahead of time though (so I'm assuming it is

common,,, plus I've read where others have had a rough time trying to

sleep after the ortho surgery too) Anyway, he prescribed Ambien for

me and it worked like a dream !!! (get it? Dream? hahaha!)

No shit huh? valium didn't knock you down and out? what mgs?

othere idea, xanax (zan-ax), while V has keep me chilled, there's

rarely been a time when xanax doesn't have me drooling into sleep

quickly.

I am so sorry you're dealing with this, you must be a mess...last

weekend was when I turned the corner and I waqs going to kill

someone by last mon morning...sorry suppose mon nt I slept....it's

horrible.

also, get up and do something, shower, or take a calm walk (daytime)

to get your body to spend some energy...and when you're UP, try

writing, sometimes it can take the crazy mind racing down a

knotch...write me bk and let me know how you are kiddo....

good thoughts and are you still on pain medss? thats what was doing

it to me and it's a RARE reaction...once I stopped them, yeah a

little pain, but slept with out maddness of crazy one hr naps filled

with dreams thjat would make the exorsists head twist twice!
