Guest guest
I had a septoplasty, rhinoplasty and a few other things done almost exactly 3 weeks ago and couldn't sleep at all. My surgeon anticipated this ahead of time though (so I'm assuming it is common,,, plus I've read where others have had a rough time trying to sleep after the ortho surgery too) Anyway, he prescribed Ambien for me and it worked like a dream !!! (get it? Dream? hahaha!) > do most people get insomnia after surgery?? because i literally > haven't slept in 7 days...and it's starting to get very frustrating. > not to mention that sleep is extremely important when your body is > healing. i called my OS and he gave me this stuff called > diazepam...which is actually valium?? well i tried that last night > and all it did was make me jittery and sweat like crazy. i didn't > know a person's body could physically stay awake for an entire week!! > > Tom
