Hey Y'all,

I haven't posted in months. I do pop in and read up on how everyone is doing.

I felt I had to write and share with all of you, especially the newbies, how

well I am doing these days. I had a horribly painful and depressing problem

with my stoma between the pouch and intestine closing up. I couldn't even

swallow my own spit. It went on like that for 8 weeks post-op. But, three scope

and dilations later I am on my way to good health and happiness. The third time

was the charm. I have been pain free and able to eat really well for nearly

three months. I've lost 64 lbs since July 21st and am looking forward to being

able to exercise. I even bought an adult tricycle.

Long story longer, anyone out there who is having set backs, don't give up or be

discouraged. Hang in there, listen to good advice, and take it one day at a

time. It will get better.

I'd post before and after pics, but I am too computer illiterate. Darn it!

Hugs,

Jony
