Guest guest
I posted a few days ago about slip sliding away because I ate popcorn and cheezits and had a voracious appetite after a particularily strenuous workout. I thought I had eaten about 2000 calories. But when I tallied it all up, I actually ate 1280 calories over the course of the entire day. I don't know why it felt like I ate so much. Maybe because I don't usually feel so hungry like a super-powered vacuum. It seems I don't have a realistic idea of exactly what's happening yet. I have always felt that I don't look much different from before the surgery and I didn't have any pictures to compare. But yesterday I came across a picture while cleaning house and, man oh man, was I fat!!! I never realized I had gotten that big! I don't know how Jac runs three miles and then does a workout. I get tired just reading her routine! My workout is really up to my limit and I am sore through and through. Luckily, not as sore today as the past few days, and the appetite has tamed down again. I am really throwing myself into it for the month of March to try to build some muscle and raise my metabolism. I don't think I can lower my calories any more and maintain in for a lifetime. The only alternative is expend more. UGH! What a fate for an aspiring lazy butt! Smiles, Vicki A.
