Guest guest
Thanks , I've forwarded the information. Dear Mimi, I know you wrote to question her about the 30 grams of protein, but it's 30 grams of protein per MEAL, not per day. The best tasting protein powder I've found is made by Champion and is called Pure Stack Whey. It comes in five flavors: Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Cocoa-moccachino and Banana-dream. It works out fairly reasonably on the internet at about $24 (plus shipping) for a 5 lb. jug which lasts for about 40 shakes or so. My personal favorite is the chocolate, but I really like them all. They mix easily (I don't even use a blender). You can add fruit if you like (I don't) or Davinci syrups and have variety every day in addition to whatever food you are eating. Dear Crystal, (I think it was you but I could be wrong, who said you were adding extra powder to your shakes and getting 87 grams or so per shake? If not you, I'm addressing this to the person who is doing that): There is no incentive to adding extra powder to a shake if you're bringing the protein amount up over 30 grams per sitting. Unless you are an extreme body builder, the most any individual can absorb in one sitting is 30 grams at a time. By doing what you're doing, all you are doing is wasting powder and money. Keep your intake to 30 grams at a time... live each day like it's your last... love like you've never been hurt...
