orthognathic surgery video?

I heard somewhere that TLC or Discovery had a TV program on

surgeries and that they showed the orthognathic surgery one time. I

looked around their websites and on other places on the internet,

and found nothing. Does anyone know anything about this?

By the way, I had mine done a couple years ago in Brazil by Doctor

Antenor Araujo.

I have seen that program on discovery, stumbled accross it late one

night while watching the telly, its shows a young girl having her

operation to correct her underbite, but i have mixed feelings about

recommending that anyone going through this should watch this

program before the surgery. This is because the program is quite

graphic and I would be afraid that it may put some people off having

this type of surgery, when ya have to remember your under an

anaesthetic during the procedure so as horrible at it looks you dont

feel a thing, the program also fails to follow up on the girl during

her recovery, which lets face it, is the real experience for us and

not the operation itself. Yes the girl looks great after the she has

recovered and the operation has been totally benefical her so on

that basis I would recommend watching the first and last five

minutes of the show prior to surgery and the perhaps the whole thing

after wards if you really want to see the finer details of what the

Os Did (if your not too squirmish)
