Well I slept until around 3ish when jaw pressure woke me up. Just

couldn't stand it anymore. Thank goodness I was unwired today.

Going down to Oakland my wife says did you bring your x-rays?

Needless to say my son saved the day and met us part way back with

them so I was only a few minutes late to the appointment. As soon

as Dr Poor cut the wires I had such a wave of relief my enodorphins

kicked in and I almost passed out. He said that is a pretty normal

occurance. I got some oxygen, laid back for awhile then got my

bands, one on each side (triangle shape) which I get to wear 4-6

weeks. I then went through the same thing again and got a cold

compress on my forehead and more oxygen. Was fine in about 20

minutes. I see him again in about 2 weeks. What a wonderful Dr!

Stopped in an actual restaurant on the way back, had soup, mashed

potatoes, and broiled fish. Real food!

Tried taking my bands off to brush and found that because I have a

small mouth opening but a deep mouth that this was going to be no

fun putting them back on each time. Of course it was no picnic

getting them off either but maybe that will get easier as each day

passes.

Hope you had a wonderful night in your own bed as well. Isn't it

wonderful? Tonight should be way better for me than last night.

Sounds like you have a great relationship, thats terrific and whats

more important than that? My wife never took my name when we

married as she said she likes her name. No big deal to me!
