off topics/ responding to on-topic requests/ we can do better

My dear brave souls

Just wanted to mention again, that all the sites I am on are going fairly

haywire with lots of off-topics. Just my two cent's worth, but there is much

unspoken tension in the air in the world, more than after 9-11, more than

after pearl harbor, more then I have ever seen in our country, and everyone

is trying to cope as best they can by making lots of jokes and black humor,

and taking about things that are /were out of control (like serial killers)

that have nothing to do with being on topic, or about mayonaise (I plead

guilty on that last one, sorry everyone) and other extremely trivial things

or things we can control ... and on and on.

For my part, I just see people tyring to keep their minds off certain things

by writing about these things that are off topic. I hope that we can

appreciate that. I think of al the things wrong in the world, or out of our

reach, andbeing off-topic is so very little in comparison.

Here's the deal, I and others will take special care to make sure Melty's and

other's concerns are responded to. and Let us all do two additional things

1. dont cut and paste the whole dang digest ever again in one's reply

2. Accurately label your messages, so that if its about mayo, it really is

about mayo and not about life-saving info that everyone needs and shouldn't

miss.

We can work together. We always have.

This comes with love and comfort at this moment in time that is so very

critical. You know what I am trying to say.
