In 1976 he was fishing for trout downstream when the thought came to him, " Why is the medical field NOT preventing disease upstream before it happens or gets downstream? " In 1976 it was on the cover of Time magazine that they discovered that Estrogen causes uterine cancer and yet doctors keep prescribing it. He just had to get away from the mainstream medical field as his frustration grew and grew. When he started studying preventive medicines he found the doctors in his same classes has a significantly higher IQ then those he found in medical school. I have heard this time and time again. Doctors are necessary but they are very human and less educated in certain fields then we know. Add to that how many do not keep up with continuing education and you better make sure you take good care of your health and certainly do NOT take what they say as gospel. Feel unsure?
