Guest guest
I feel for ya katie! I had a similar problem in that my right side never really touched. when banded I could make it touch but the left side always touched first. bands were removed at 9 weeks and within a week my bite went to where it wanted to go which is I can only touch one tooth! the left rear molar touches and all others are open 5mm. doc says i need the maxilla redone so here we go again. I hope you don't have any serious issues with your bite when the bands are removed. massive banding sounds like doc is trying to force your bite into an unnatural position. time will tell. good luck. eric > I seem to be able to chew better on one side than the other but > ironically, it is the side that has not completely closed yet as far > as the bite. my left side bite is good, although that side is > sensitive to chew on.
