Guest guest
My personal spin on salt is that when I crave it (usually pumpkin seeds) it means my ferritin has bottomed out and it's time for an iron infusion. Most folks chew ice when they need iron but not Whoa...lightbulb moment... I eat sugar-free popsicles like they're going out of style...and I put more salt on my food at one meal than most people put on ALL their meals for a WEEK. I already know my Ferritin is low (was 20 pre-op, was 6 a few months ago)... Potassium's low, too...so much to keep up with! =) Staci
