Guest guest
I agree with the idea that Ground Rules should be posted up front. This way everyone is clear as to what they are. > Hi everyone > The out come was it was dismissed but just the fact of going through the BS took almost 6 months to clear up... Because I didnt have that slanderous or liable remarks wouldnt be tolerated and would cause removal from the group and in the welcome to the group I didnt state the rules and guidelines for the group I had to defend myself. As for moderating every email.. If this is an open forum and a group wants to continue talking on one group you really cant stop it Unless you also state that one topic can only be discussed for say 2 weeks If you want to limit the threads you have to go to a moderated email which then the moderators have to scan EVERY email and then send them on to the list. I have been a list owner 5 yrs now. I have over 300 members alot smaller but the posts are just as great since they are all fire dept related. all our calls member notices work schedules everything is posted ...... > Just a suggestion to the moderators maybe if this was first time you had a situation you should consider putting both back on list restting your welcome message to include for a situation like this and go from there....
