I haven't had the chance to look into it as a league has been formed like what you've described. is a runner and this is one place that he would love to run free. It sounds great. Register online in order to make registration easier on everyone, if you would like to submit your application via email, please contact Ita Saldana at Ita@... or call 201-282-4785 All Registrations will be held at the Edgewater Community Center 1167 River Road Edgewater NJ 07020 Requirements The Challenger League is designed for children with Special Needs. It is open to all children ages 5-21 with a disability. Special Rules for the Challenger Division All children ages 5 through 21 or who remain in school, with physical or mental disabilities are encouraged to participate. Level of play is based upon player's size, age and skill level are recommended where numbers are allowed. Each player will participate in the " Buddy " system. Another child will be buddied up with each player and will be able to assist the player during the game. Each player will play for the entire game Little League recommends that scored not be kept during the games. Game Schedule Season Opener Parade will take place on Sat. APril 5th @ 10am Games will be held on Sundays beginning April6th @ 1pm Participation Awards Ceremony and picture day to be announced. Registration is ongoing. Please contact me at anytime during the season or come down to any game. Fundraising There will be two fundraisers this year. 1. individual raffle to help raise money 2.
