Guest guest
Wow! I haven't read any posts in awhile because I am home recovering from hernia repair( fourth one) and tummy tuck. I am so glad I read the posts. I have never really craved sugar, but since I am home from the hospital, all I want is candy! I had my surgery done 3/12, and he totally reconstructed me, pulling and overlapping muscles, covering it all with mesh, then the PS closed me up. I originally had 4 drains, was released with 2 that I have taken out 4/3. I was in the hospital 7 days. I had virtually no pain, had an epidural for surgery and the first 4 days. I am on percoset now, only 2 a day, one at night, one during the day, mostly for my general overall feeling of soreness. The thing that is getting to me is the lack of energy. It takes me all day to recover from taking a shower. I know this is only temporary, and I am so glad to have the hernia gone. My belly looks great already, it's weird with no more stretch marks. I see alot of other people are in the same boat and I'm glad to understand that this lethargy is the norm. Good luck to you.
