over 4 months post op and I am, thank God, doing well too!!! Best wishes to

Hi everyone.

Wow, it's been 13 weeks today since my surgery (July 15th, lower jaw

setback) and I just met with my OS who said that my bite has settled

perfectly and that I'm free to leave.

I was so happy I almost hugged him (but decided on a warm handshake

instead). I profusely thanked the office staff and the office

manager who handled all the insurance stuff and left.

I made an appointment with my ortho next Wednesday to get the

surgical wires removed and fix some brackets that fell off during

surgery and now I'm on to the post-op ortho phase.

I had some very definite lows during this whole procedure. I

struggled with depression and the liquid diet for 6 weeks, but now, I

am onto the final phase. This group has been a wonderful support for

me. I find it therapeutic to look back through my old posts to see

how far I've come.

Soon, I'll post pictures.
