Good Evening Everyone,

I'm the lady in Ocala, FL who had gained about 40 lbs. back, mother with

terminal ovarian cancer, hubby with bipolar disorder.

Thanks so much for the encouraging letters and hugs. I have responded by

getting back on my post-op way of eating. Made it through today :) I eat:

Breakfast: 1 serving of protein (cheese, egg, or meat)

Cup of coffee

Morning Snack: 1 fruit

Lunch: Salad and serving of meat. Nothing fried. No-fat dressing.

Keeping calories and fats down.

Afternoon Snack: 1 fruit

Dinner: 12 oz. protein shake - 30 grams of protein.

Evening Snack: 1 fruit

64 oz. water minimum during the day. If really needing something extra, I

use hot boullion, sugar-free jello, celery, carrot sticks, etc. Nothing

liquid with calories.

One day at a time - My Motto.

Just reading the postings helps a lot. We're all in this together (life

with WLS).

If there is anyone near Ocala, FL, I would welcome meeting for lunch

sometime.
