5 Weeks Wednesday-- Getting UNWIRED!!

Hi all,

I just wanted to share my happy news. My recovery has so far gone

smoothly from upper/lower/wisdom teeth extraction, and on Wednesday

my surgeon will remove the wires (I've been wired shut since July

28th!) It's hard to believe the end is in sight! The thought of

going to Red Lobster is consuming me right now.

Can anyone comment on the removal of the wires? Should I drink

numerous alcoholic beverages before getting them removed so I'm

COMPLETELY numb? How does your mouth feel? I keep picturing that my

jaw will just drop like Jim Carrey's in the MASK.
