Guest guest
Debby, plese accept my condolences regareing your grandaughter, Donna Rose. Yo were such wonderful support to both Cyn and ... When DH and I were first married, I needed a d & C and a culdoscopy and a possible hysterectomy. He too, left, and was in and out, much tpomy dismay. Many years later we talked about it. He told me he was so afraid of losing me that he could not bring himself to be there. He actually started smoking again aftr having been off for 2- 3 years.Of course, I was hurt and resentful at the time, but got over it. SINCE then, he has 'been there' for me every step of every thing...I really freaked out over verced injectiojns for a rotator cuff surgery...couldn't breath, couldn't swallow, couldn't cough...the doc said 'get her husband!', who sat me up, rubbed my back, and reassured me, and held my hand until they took me to surgery. When I fell and hurt my leg and could not walk, it was HE who helped me, lowered me to the toilet (he ALWAYS puts the seat down) and put me to bed...my leg did not follow and had to be lifted into bed separately. He took care of me after wls, too, makng 2 kinds of jello and puddng and getting anything i wanted. when I feared the insurance would not pay for anything, he told me to continue pursuihng it, as we would 'find a way becasue it is so important to you.' Well, alot has changed since those early years...it is now 33. Corrine
