This was probably the hardest part of this article to read. My

morbid obesity almost killed me by my 41st birthday. I have been told

without wls, I would be dead by now. So how can someone justify my life

ending some 30 years early. The risk of obesity, in my ever so humble

opinion, is NOT exaggerated. There are too many young people out there

dyeing from this disease. A friend of mine has lost 2 or 3 siblings who

were in there 40's due to this disease. It really is sad when people who

are not obese do not understand that. I am by no means skinny. But I am

healthier then I was when I had the surgery.
