Guest guest
Are you saying that you may still opt to cancel your surgery based on information you receive on this forum? Each case is different... your surgeon is your best source of the risks involved. I personally regret doing my lower jaw advancement because i didn't like the final look...the surgery was a success because my bite lines up perfectly; however, i think i looked much better before the surgery (my face looks thinner and longer)... i only had a 5mm overjet before the surgery now think it was not worth the risk of numbness ... by the way, i have full feeling in my lips and chin.... PLEASE NOTE: each person's situation is unique...it's futile trying to extrapolate others' experiences... good luck! > Well I thought I'd give this a try and see if I could get any advice > or assistance from anyone who has been down the road I'm about to > travel.
